lunch/talk about Oxfam projects in Laos/Cambodia 10th May

You are invited to lunch and a talk about Oxfam Australia’s projects in Laos and Cambodia from 12:30pm on Saturday 10 May at the:

Outback Centre
315 Bagot Road
Subiaco

(adjacent to Subiaco Theatre complex, 700m from Daglish Railway Station)


Our speaker is Oxfam Australia’s Program Coordinator for Laos and Cambodia, Lee FitzRoy. She will talk about our very interesting work in Laos and Cambodia including:

    The success of the SRI rice growing technique
    Rice and buffalo banks
    Improved water supplies for irrigation and domestic use
    The provision of teachers houses and school rooms
    Income generating projects such as women’s sewing groups
